Aquinas College recently welcomed back esteemed alumni for a the annual Senior Old Boys' Day. The event serves as a delightful reunion for graduates who had departed the College at least fifty years prior.

The day commenced with a sense of nostalgia as former students wandered through familiar, or maybe not so familiar, grounds, reminiscing about cherished memories and sharing anecdotes of their time at Aquinas. The Old Aquinians gathered for a special Senior School Rowing Assembly, providing them with a glimpse into the current endeavours and achievements of the school's students. Amidst rows of proud parents and enthusiastic faculty, the Old Boys observed with admiration as young rowers demonstrated their skills and dedication, showcasing the timeless spirit of Aquinas College.

Following the assembly, the festivities continued at Hughes Dining Hall, where the College's Jazz band welcomed our guests, setting the perfect ambiance for an afternoon of camaraderie and celebration.

Amidst the clinking of teacups and the gentle murmur of conversation, Old Boy, Peter Kennedy took centre stage, graciously wielding the microphone to facilitate a lively exchange of stories and achievements. With each story told, the room filled with laughter and applause as alumni recounted tales of youthful escapades and academic triumphs.

Senior Old Boys' Day served as a poignant reminder of the timeless bond shared by the Aquinas community, transcending time and distance to unite past, present, and future in a celebration of shared experiences.
