We recognise that choosing a school is a significant decision for every family, as it shapes the foundation of a child’s educational journey and future opportunities. At Aquinas, we understand the importance of this choice and are committed to supporting you throughout the entire process. Our dedicated Enrolments team is here to guide you at each step, from your initial enquiry and campus visits to providing detailed information and answering your questions, all the way through to your son’s first day at Aquinas. We aim to make the transition as smooth and welcoming as possible, ensuring you feel confident and informed every step of the way.
Step 1: Application
The first stage of the enrolment process involves the completion and return of the Application for Admission form accompanied by the registration fee and a copy of the prospective students birth certificate.
Boys can join Aquinas at different points in their schooling journey, subject to availability. Some year groups are in particularly high demand, so we encourage early application, especially for:
- Pre-Kindergarten
- Kindergarten
- Year 3
- Year 4
- Year 7 (boarding and day students)
Step 2: Waitlist
Once you submit the Enrolment Application form, your son's name will be added to Aquinas College's waitlist for the entry levels you have selected. During this period we will keep in touch with you through email and our College magazine, updating you about any exciting events or news related to Aquinas. We believe in maintaining a strong relationship with our prospective families and keeping them informed every step of the way.
Step 3: Interview & Offer
Three years prior to your son's entry year we will extend an invitation for you and your son to visit our campus. This is a great opportunity for both of you to get a first-hand experience of College life at Aquinas. During the visit, we will conduct an interview and answer any questions that you may have about the College. Our goal is to get to know you and your son better so that we can ensure that Aquinas is an ideal fit for your son and your family.
After the interview, if your son is offered a place at Aquinas, you will receive a Letter of Offer. Our Enrolments team will be in touch to ensure the enrolments process is as smooth and hassle-free as possible for you.
Step 4: Orientation
As your son's start date at Aquinas approaches, we will begin preparing your family for the exciting year ahead. You will receive invitations to attend various events such as parent information evenings, student testing and orientation days, as well as community events. These opportunities will not only provide you with important information about the College but also allow you to become more involved in our community. We believe that building strong relationships between families and the College is crucial to ensuring a successful educational experience for your child.
