In Week 2 this term, the Junior School hosted the annual Scholastic Book Fair in the Library. This event is always very well supported by our community. We would like to sincerely thank all Junior School students and families for the support provided to the boys in encouraging reading, and a love of books. Thanks to Mrs Beverley Rive for assisting in the smooth running of the fair.

We are excited to be able to donate the $470.00 commission from the Book Fair to Edmund Rice Camps for Kids.

“Edmund Rice Camps for Kids WA Inc (ERCKWA) is a non-profit community-based organisation that serves the needs of WA ‘at risk’ or disadvantaged children aged 7–16 and their families (families who would not otherwise have such opportunities). We achieve this via a variety of developmentally focussed recreational and educational respite programs, including camps. ERCKWA also fosters the ongoing personal development of young adult volunteer leaders who act as friends and mentors to the children in our care.”

Mr Kevin Knapp from ERCKWA will be attending our Junior School assembly to accept the donation, and to share with the students how the donation will be used.
