NAIDOC Week sand art creations

The grounds of Aquinas College have been adorned with sand artworks in celebration of NAIDOC Week.

Junior School students created four separate pieces alongside the Junior campus, working with AISWA’s Future Footprints staff and older Indigenous Aquinas students to produce the artworks which were symbols of the Indigenous Edmund Rice Education Australia touchstones; inclusive community, liberating education, justice and solidarity, and Gospel spirituality.

Senior students then created a striking artwork spanning metres of lawn at the front of the Edmund Rice building which also incorporated the touchstone art supplied by Edmund Rice Education Australia.
