The Boarding Project

Welcome to 2017!

We are pleased to report that the redevelopment of the Aquinas boarding precinct is well underway.

Over the summer break, construction of the new boarding house continued, the temporary village, comprising 77 individual accommodation units and offices, was installed in the Nunan carpark and the refurbishment of Gibney House commenced.  Displaced students from Gibney House will spend Term 1 in the temporary village.

Aquinas has a long and outstanding tradition of providing educational opportunities for country boys.  The Boarding Project demonstrates our ongoing commitment to boarding and country Western Australia, and will take the College into a new era of residential care.

The Boarding Project will include:

  • A new Year 7 boarding facility
  • The refurbishment of current boarding residences
  • A new boarding supervisor’s residence
  • The upgrade of services to the boarding precinct
  • Temporary accommodation for students during renovations
  • The upgrade of landscaping, roads, etc.

How can you help?

We are seeking the support of the Aquinas community to help us refurbish the boarding residences to an appropriate standard. Whether great or small, your gift will ensure that the College can continue striving to provide the best possible facilities for our boarders.
