Despite still being on school holidays, six Aquinas students took time to walk in solidarity with the Australian Red Cross at the Anzac Day March in Perth.
It was the first time Aquinas has joined the march and it was a proud moment for the boys to not only take in the atmosphere of being in the parade, but to also meet so many of the older generation of Red Cross Volunteers and to hear their stories.
The parade will be an annual event for the College and we congratulate and thank the Red Cross for helping the most vulnerable people in our community during both war and peace time and for inviting us to join them for this very special occasion.
“It is such a great look when we have the students marching with Red Cross and I hope they enjoyed the experience. Such fantastic supporters of our Soup Patrol and future leaders” WA Red Cross chairperson Di Buckles said.
